RV Service Technician Job Application

Frenchtown, NJ | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Paid Training

NJ RVing is a growing local business looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team. We don’t expect you to be an expert on day one—we will train you on the job. This is a full-time career path where we provide hands-on training and funding for you to become a Certified RV Technician through the RVTI.

The Role

Based out of our Frenchtown, NJ facility, you will perform a mix of in-shop and mobile repairs. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys “fixing everything” and hates doing the same repetitive task all day. We focus on the “house” side of RVs—no heavy engine or drivetrain maintenance required.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will learn to diagnose and repair a wide range of systems, including:

  • Systems & Appliances: Replacing AC units, fixing leaking plumbing, and repairing electrical systems.
  • Structural Repairs: Fixing roof leaks, repairing cabinetry and interior walls, and sealing slide-out leaks.
  • Specialty Upgrades: Installing solar panel systems and upgrading security with new lock installations.
  • Seasonal Maintenance: Performing winterizations and de-winterizations to keep customers on the road.

Why Join NJ RVing?

  • Paid Training: Comprehensive on-the-job training plus 100% coverage of your formal RVTI certification costs.
  • Stable Schedule: A consistent Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM work week.

  • Small Business Values: You are a vital part of our daily operations. We value your contribution and rely on your work to help us grow.

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong Work Ethic & Reliability: As a small business, we rely on our employees to show up on time and work during business hours. You must be dependable and ready to work daily.
  • Focus & Efficiency: You must be able to stay focused and stick to timelines to ensure customer repairs are completed on time.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: You enjoy working with your hands and are comfortable using basic tools.
  • Valid Driver’s License: A reliable vehicle is required for travel to the shop and potential mobile service calls.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to climb ladders, work on RV roofs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Compensation & Benefits:
